SpanRelay Early access
Know whether the delivery paid for itself.
SpanRelay is for truss manufacturers. It keeps each job in one record from the first quote to the last delivery, then compares what the delivery was quoted at with what it actually cost, so the next quote's rates are better.

What it does
01
Delivery priced with the quote
Loads, route miles, oversize and site time are priced with the job, so the delivery allowance is part of the quote, not a guess added at the end.
02
Approval rules
Quotes that break a rule go to inside sales before they are sent, and the record keeps who approved what and when.
03
Compare plants
Price the same package from each plant, with the delivery cost and each plant's capacity on the requested date.
04
Dispatch board
Approved jobs by plant and day, with capacity warnings and suggested drivers and trucks for dispatch to check.
05
Driver app
Each driver's stops on a phone, with navigation, signatures, photos and site delays recorded at the stop.
06
Recovery report
Closeouts added up by rate, showing which rates under-recover and suggesting rates for estimating to review.
Schedule against what each plant can load.
The dispatch board shows every approved job by plant and day. Days over capacity stand out, and SpanRelay can suggest drivers and trucks for the open stops, for dispatch to check and confirm.
- Loads per day against each plant's capacity
- Oversize loads flagged for permits and routing
- Day sheets for every truck

Proof of delivery from the cab.
Drivers see their stops for the day and close each one out on a phone: photos of the stack and tags, the receiver's signature, and when they arrived and left, including any delay on site.
- Stops in order, with site notes
- Signature and photos at the stop
- Site delays recorded for the closeout

Find the rates that don't cover the cost.
One overrun is a bad day. The same overrun on every long-haul job is a rate problem. The recovery report adds up closeouts by rate and suggests the rates that would have covered the closed jobs. Nothing changes on the rate card until estimating approves it.
- Quoted versus actual, by rate and plant
- Largest overruns, linked to their closeouts
- Suggested rates, with CSV export

Where it is today
SpanRelay is in early access, developed with a working truss manufacturer. The screens on this page are illustrative, and demos run on sample jobs and sample figures.
Customers can also get their own view of their orders, with status, delivery dates, questions and change requests. That view is in preview.
If you run a truss plant and want to see it with your own workflow in mind, ask for a demo.
